My gm was Liza Barska/Barsky Fischer, an actress in the Yiddish theatre. She was born in Odessa about 1888, married my gf Herman (from Bedzin, Poland) there and had her first child there in 1907, before settling in Warsaw and later dying in the Ghetto. Her parents were Jacob Barski(y) and mother was maybe Rifka or Chinka, Khinka or Ninka. Jacob's father may have been Icik. I know they had other children besides Liza. Izaak, Boris, Mania/Maryem/Genia, Cilia/Tsilia. I don't know much about them except Boris died in WWI and Cilia was a concert pianist who married a German named Alfred Friemel who managed movie theatres.
