It is interesting why they would choose Brisky. Which is my ancestors name. Some spelled it briskey. Some changed to Briscoe. Getting the European connection is very hard.
Keep in touch let me know what else you can find. My ancestors came from France in 1770 and fought in the American Revolutionary War for 8 years.
Two brothers. Course Europe was at war so who knows where some of the family may have gone. Said that one fought under napolean and received a title. But I can't verify this yet.
