census and copied anything I crossed with the
name Barsness.

Wife: Annie b. May 1874 in MN married 3 yrs
Dgt: Alice b. May 1898 in MN
Son: Harry b. Nov 1899 in MN

Annie and John's parents were all from Norway.
John was a blacksmith.
They rented a house.

He was a merchant of the General Store
Dina Barsness also lived with these two.
She was b. May 1882 and was single.
Her parents were both born in Norway.
She was the Store Keeper.




Barsness, Jens J. White b. Nov 1858 married
to Mary b. Dec 1867 for 16 years. Jens was
b. in Norway along with his and Mary's parents.
Mary was b. in Wisconsin. Jens J. came to the
U.S. in 1864. He was a farmer. There children
were:
Lewis J. b. June 1884
Martin b. Nov. 1886
Nels b. Dec 1888
John b. July 1892
Melvin b. July 1894
Martha b. Nov 1896
Andrew b. Jan 1899

The mother of Jens was Martha and lived with
him. She was b. Sept. 1820 in Norway. Her
parents were born in Norway. She came to the
U.S. at the same time as Jens.
