Looks like Albert is a brother of my greatgrandfather Ole Barstad. Info I have is there grandfather Olav Gullikson Barstad emigrated in 1842 from Seljord, Norway on the ship Tuskina (from Havre France to New York) then settled in Dane County Wisconsin. Olav and his wife Inaborg Jonsdatter had three sons, Vetle, Eivind (Even) and Halvor. Halvor passed away at a young age, perhaps on the ship or shortly after arriving in Wisconsin. Vetle and Even settled in Freeborn County Minnesota in 1867 and remained there until moving to Walsh County North Dakota in 1880. Vetle moved on to Williams County ND and Eivind stated in Walsh County. Eivind Olavson Barstad was married to Anne Sondersdotter Skararud they had five sons, Halvor, Sander, Ole, Hans and Albert.
