Victoria (Labesky) Bart, 88, of Windsor, beloved wife for 54 years of Francis Peter Bart, died Tuesday, (December 2, 2003) at St. Francis Hospital. Born October 27, 1915 in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Cecelia (Zukas) Labesky. Victoria lived in Hartford before moving to Windsor in 1954. She was employed by the Connecticut General Insurance Co. for 20 years retiring in 1980 and was a parishioner of St. Gabriel's Church. Besides her husband, Francis, she leaves two daughters, Valerie Shaw and Marian Madison, both of Windsor; a grandson, Jarod Shaw of Windsor; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Cecily Bart-McGinty, a son Francis V. Bart and two brothers, Anthony and Peter Labesky. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, 9:15 a.m. from the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Gabriel Church, Windsor.
