We are still looking for information about the family of Karl (Carl) Barta, born 15 Aug 1853, who emigrated to the US in 1877. His father's name was Karl (Carl) Barta also and his mother was Mary Barron. We think he had a brother John and other siblings, as well. Some of his paper trail says he came from Lansperk, Bohemia, while a death article said he came from Fredrickwald, Austria. We have letters that were sent from his father to Carl here in WI and the translator we hired said they were written in Austrian. Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
