I am researching my Bartels-Osymeyer ancestors: They all were bornin Gemrany lived in Dakota county NE and died there. Please share any information on the following:
Paternal Great Grandparents & Grandparents
1. Henry Bartels- l great grand father b. Weden Germany Imgrated 1881
2. Wilhemina Herman-Bartels, great grandmother.
They we marreid in Gemany. Immigrated to U.S 1881 with their children. (Henry, William, Adolf, Gus, Paul, Charles, Frederick)
3. Frederick Barteles My grand father (see above) b.1867 Germany, died 1951 NE (at my parents home). He Married Friederike Ostmeyer ( or Ostmeier) in 1890 in Dkota city NE. Ostmeyer was used by this family in Dakota county NE, but my grandparents marriage certificae says "Ostmeier".
Her parents:
4. Henry Ostmeyer b 11/11/1841 Germany, d. 10/19/1918 NE.
5. Augusta Brinkman- Ostmyer ( b.12/6/1848, d. 5/9/1923) married in Bieliefeld Germany,immigrated with ther children in 1871. Lived & died in NE (children Hnreita, Friederike (see above), Charles, William, Lena, Ameila, Harry, Marietta, Leone, Mabel).
