Are there alternative spellings of Bartelson? IE is it Bartleson or Bartelson? I ask because my grandfather's parents died when he was very young (they were of the Bartelson/Bartleson lineage) and he was adopted by close family friends (the Nelsons). I was interested in changing my name legally back to Bartelson/Bartleson but was unsure of the proper spelling.

I am looking for any infomation on Irene Bartelson born Nov 24, 1908 and died Jan 12, 1992. Please contact me if you have any information concerning her. I am a long lost relative.

Her father may have been Ephraim Bartelson and her mother Anna Stueland.

I have a Florence Jacobi or Jacobus married to John Wesley Bartleson (one of my relatives). Is it possible Florence is descended from a relative of Peiter Jacobus & Nellie Bartleson's?

Any Bartleson (or relatives) information would be greatly appreciated.
