I am in contact with Fabio Anderson (Bartelt), whose Bartelt family emmigrated to Dona Francisca, Brazil on October 26, 1872 on the steamship Henry Knight(?) from Hamburg, Germany. He is looking for any information as to where the family originated from and whether he has any family branches still in Germany or the USA. The emmigrant's names are: Friederich (Friedrich) BARTELT, age 43 (born circa 10/27/1828-12/31/1828), his wife Elise (age 33), and their children; Anna Bartelt (4 months), Friedrich Bartelt (age 1), Johanna Bartelt (age 4), Louise Bartelt (age 6), Marie Bartelt (age 11), Friederike Bartelt (age 14) and Carl Bartelt (age 16).
