My Bartelt line seems to be the only ones who did not go to Wisconsin. Don't get me wrong, I've been a life-long Packers fan. But my Bartelt line ended up in Western New York. I can't seem to find any information that leads to any connections or ties to other Bartelt lines. It's almost like my relatives intentionally hid their tracks so i could not discover the rest of the family line. Any hints from others who've encountered similar issues? Oh yeah, the line also includes Schoessow (also very Wisconsin-like name) and Kiesow.
