I am researching the John Bartley line and would like to connect with someone working on this family. I have seen previous information that has John b. about 1750 and d. 1823 TN and Rachel Hotton b. abt 1756 and d. 1834 TN as well. I believe some of this info to be incorrect. I have recently discovered several separate land transactions that state John died around October 1829 in Guilford County. The Dower records name the following nine children: John, Rachael, Martin, Mary, Yancey, Jane, Sidney, Jeremiah and Robert.

I would appreciate hearing from any interested Bartley researchers. I am more than willing to share.
