Tabitha (b. abt 1788) was not the daughter of William Bartley (b. abt 1813) and Permilia "Milly" James (b. abt 1819). William and Milly (Tabitha's son and his wife) were incorrectly listed as Tabitha's parents on her death record, however, they were only the informants of her death to the county. Tabitha's maiden name is said to have been BOAB, but it was more likely to have been BABB instead. My belief is that she was very likely related to the Babb's of Scott Co VA.
