I am researching my family and it includes the Peter Bartol family which I have no information on. I believe they lived in Cudahy and owned a business there. Peter Bartol married Franci(e)s Gizela (Gizella etc) on the 25th of October 1904. The Gizella family was from Berlin Wi and was the family of my Grandfather. I realize your posting is quiet old but I thought I would try a inquiry anyway.

Hi Bartol family!
Recently I purchased a group of pictures from ebay. In them were quite a few pictures of a Mrs. Harry Bartol and her son Harry jr. circa 1909 thru maybe 1920's. There are a few family shots with 3 children, I'm assuming Harry jr. to be the oldest. These are very nice. I feel bad that they haven't gone to a family member. Please contact me if you are related & have an interest in these. If not I will cherish them.
Robyn

Bartol - Bertulis - Balkauski

My surname was anglicized from BERTULIS -- a Lithuanian surname. My great grandfather -- John Peter Bartol (Bertulis) married Frances Balkauski in Cambridge, Mass in 1914. She was also from Lithuania. I am looking for cousins of theirs who were in the Boston area at that time.

I found a PETER BARTOL on the ship's passenger list for The Patience 1748. It came from Rotterdam and is listed in Stassburger + Hinke's Pennsylvania German Pioneers, Vol. I + II. Could Peter be related? Thanks. Marigay
