Classification: Query
Surnames: Barton, Moret, Morris
My maternal g-grandmother was Carey May Moret. That's all I know about her, except one of her daughters was Clara Barton, my maternal grandmother. They were from Akron and Dayton, Ohio. Carey May Moret maybe have been from Pennsylvania.
Clara Barton was born in the 1890s, married Floyd Hereford Morris from Kansas City, Kansas. They had 11 children, of which my mother, Helen May Morris was the second. Clara Barton died in the mid-1950s in San Bernardino, CA.
During the Great Depression, the entire family sang, played music, and traveled, making their way to California.
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
Thank you for your help. ~ Mary
