Looking for information on Frances W, Smith v. about 1785 who married Benjamin Jordan Bass aldo b. about 1784 or 1785. For the past year I have been looking for info on Frabkie &Frances) Bass who married William Dinwiddie in Allen County KY in 1816 at the age of 31. I have found no Frances with the maiden name of Bass, so can only think that at her age she must have been married prior to the Dinwiddie marriage.

Tonight I found a Benjamin JORDAN bASS WHO WAS MARRED TO A fRANCES sMITH. tHEY WERE BOTH BORN IN va WHICH LINES UP WITH WHAT i KNOW IS TRUE OF MY GGG GRANDMOTHER AS WELL AS THE BIRTH YEAR.

I also should mention that I found this info on a slave schedule which would correspond with some of the darker complexions in my father;s side of the family.
