I'm your cousin Pat - Ben and Lea Cathers' son. I was passed your comment about EB Johnson being adopted after the civil war. I hadn;t heard this. I noted with interest that he shows up with the family as a 2 year old in the 1860 census. Have you received any other info to support his adoption as an infant?
