TWO ALLEGED HORSE THIEVES HELD
Muskogee: Bob Wortham, who was with Ed Bashaw, horse thief, when he was killed by a farmer near Brush Hill, was arraigned before United States Commissioner Leekley and was bound over to the grand jury without bond. Milard Cottingham, another member of the gang, was held until more witnesses could be summoned. The two men are wanted in several places for different charges of larceny. They were with Ed Bashaw when he was killed by a farmer, who lay in some weeds waiting for the gang to come back and get some harness that had been stolen and concealed in the weeds.
