Charles L. Basinger, 72, of Connellsville RD1 (Morgan Station) died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1991, in Frick Community Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Feb. 16, 1919, in Wooddale, a son of the late William P. and Jennie Greenawalt Basinger. Prior to retirement, he was a farmer. He was a member of the Connellsville Church of God.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William, Howard, Ernest, and Sheridan Basinger; and two sisters, Eva Basinger and Mrs. Sarah Brown.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Sanner Basinger; a son, Richard L. Basinger of Connellsville RD1 (Morgan Station); three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Leota Brown and Mrs. Mabel M. Firestone, both of Connellsville RD1 (Owendale); and a brother, Wilson Basinger of Connellsville RD2 (Moyer).
Services will be held Friday, Oct. 4, 1990, in Connellsville.
