This & Randy Lineage by "frankie49" show 2 children: Henry Shell Baskett b.16 Feb 1853 m. 1871 Mary Ann Alcorn & further descendants. Their notes on Thomas: "Died 10 Mar 1865, Knoxville, Knox Co, Tennessee. Confederate corporal captured as a spy (not to be exchanged) in Jefferson County, Tennessee and transferred to Chattanooga." Another tree noted he was a guerilla (no mention of spy) "captured Jefferson Co MO 28 Jan 1865." Cites sources: "M598-4 roll," "M380 roll 1." Harriett m(2)9 Oct 1867 Washington Co MO John Rowell--family in 1870 & later censuses.
