I am interested in the Baskin family that came to Johnson Co. AR area pre 1850, probably from TN. They were also in Roane Co. TN in its earliest days--pre 1810, but I don't know where they were between AR Roane Co. I am interested in their tie-in with the family of EDWARD DAVIS who d. 1839 Johnson CO. AR. It is possible Edward's wife had a sister named Nancy who m. a Baskin. Not proved, but Edward's wife MAY have been RachelWilliams.
