I am looking for any one who is researching the Jane Hays/ Hayes and James Bason of Rocking County, N.C.
They were married in 1829. Jane is the daughter of Arthur Hayes and his wife Jane [?]. In 1860 Jane and James Bason were residing next door to Jane Hayes.
Jane's sister, Margaret was married to John Shepherd and moved to Missouri about 1840.
