We are researching my Bason ancestors in the Cheshire Area of the UK, particularly Swettenham & Marton villages. We've got from present day back to about 1750 and would be glad to share information with others - especially if we can establish a USA link before WW II !

Am seeking descendants and more info on a PETER BASON, who was a cousin to a Nikolaus/Nicholas LEITNER who emigrated from Grossse Kikinda (now Serbia) ca 1906 & went to Cincinnati, OH.

Where was Peter from? Was he related to the family from Over Peover, Cheshire, England? I thought Bason was a French name.

Leads, anyone? Thanks!
