I just learned that I had a great aunt by the name of Felice Ausz Bason. She had a son named Henry who might have been a banker (possibly in NY). Felice had several sisters, Sophia, Jozefa, Bronislawa, Helene, and Stanislawa.

Alot of Bason/Basin's in Shropshire stem from Richard Bason and Mary Ann Scriven in Alveley: Sarah Ann, Agnes, Alice, Emily, Kate, Mary E., Rhoda, Charles Valentine, George, John Thomas and Richard Henry.
Richard was born in Chelmarsh 14/7/1840 to John Bason and Martha Blainey who never married. He had Brothers and Sisters: Charles, George, John and Catherine. Email any links please?

I am looking for any one who is researching the Jane Hays/ Hayes and James Bason of Rocking County, N.C.
They were married in 1829. Jane is the daughter of Arthur Hayes and his wife Jane [?]. In 1860 Jane and James Bason were residing next door to Jane Hayes.
Jane's sister, Margaret was married to John Shepherd and moved to Missouri about 1840.

I have been looking for some info on the Bason Family for some time now. I will give you all the info I have and see if you can help me. The farthest back I have is a couple named William and Esther Bason. They had 9 kids. Charles, Clara, George, Lucille, Thomas, Eva, Robert, Ida and William. William (the father) was born 11/7/1844 and died 8/1/1918. Esther was born on 6/22/1845 and died 10/10/1918. They lived in Sayville, on Long Island in NY. I have no other info. Lillian P. Bason, 89, much loved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2003. She is survived by her three children and their spouses: son, Frank Bason and wife, Ingrid of Silkeborg, Denmark; daughter, Christine Becker and husband, Robert of Placitas, NM; and son, Roger Bason and wife, Ampi of Highlands, NY. Lillians grandchildren include, Christian Bason and wife, Malene and Peter Bason, all of Copenhagen, Denmark, Justin Becker of Albuquerque, and Charlie and Athena Bason of Highlands, NY. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles. She will be missed and loved by all her family forever. Lillian was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, the La Vida Llena community and also an author of several children's books. She was secretary to the Chairman of the Board of the New York Stock Exchange during the 1930's. Am seeking descendants and more info on a PETER BASON, who was a cousin to a Nikolaus/Nicholas LEITNER who emigrated from Grossse Kikinda (now Serbia) ca 1906 & went to Cincinnati, OH.
