Hi-I just recently found this forum and wanted to share my info and hope that someone knows further information. I am related to Francis Monroe Bass, who died in Perryville (Perry Co.), MO. I have learned that his father was David Bass, who was born and raised near Greenville, IL.

David was married to Mary Ann Lancaster and their children were: Henry, James Alexander (Alex), Jacob, Sarah, Jasper, Joseph (died young), Catherine (died young) Allen (died young), George, Francis Monroe, and Stella.

The brothers of David Bass were: Jake, Harden, William, Jom, (David), Henry, Leige, Gilford and Joseph. All but David stayed in Il.

Francis Monroe (F.M.) Bass married Sarah Tucker and their children were: Mattie Elizabeth (Weir), Mary Ollie (Moore), Rose Thelma (Brewer), Stella Ann (Brewer), Frances (Boxdorfer), Geroge Albert and Robert Leroy.

Any information on David Bass and his ancestors would be greatly appreciated!
