Bassano-Crypto Jewish Debate

I am most interested in the debate over the possibility of the Bassano Family being Sephardic Jews. My grandmother doesn't look like any of her siblings in a recent old photo. They are all very blond and fair, she has large almond shaped eyes and black hair, and more olive complexion. Would someone post something new ..you've gotten our interest.I've been reading the history of the Sephardic Jews of Spain. Waiting in Alabama for my family story. Thank you.

Bassano-American cousins

I'm not sure prior message I posted will go through, so here goes again, let us try this. There are many families in the U.S. who are tied to the Bassanos thorough the Lanier lines. My grandmother had black hair and light olive complexion, she was small and very ladylike..she died in the great l927 tuberculosis epidemic that hit this area of the Southeastern part of the U.S., Alabama and Mississippi. So I am very curious whether and of our family looks like the Bassanos. There is music and art in our families..coming out stronger in this generation. Good things cannot be destroyed. We must all keep researching. Perhaps this is the ;answer to Peace in this World. God bless, cousins in England.
