John Basting married Gertrude (unknown)
Gertrude passed away in Chicago late 1950's - early 60's

Seeking info on Gertrude maybe an Obit somewhere?

I believe this John Basting is the son of John & Mary Basting who came to Chicago from Hungary in 1912.

Question: If they did not arrive through Ellis Island in 1912 where else would they have entered the US and they were listed as Aliens in 1920 Federal Census.

Children included:
Charles Basting who married Mary CAMPBELL 1963 (Both living)
Irene married Mike (unknown)
Geraldine (Called Geri) married Richard STONE

Both John and Gertrude are no longer living.
