Allen Ray Bastin 58, of Indianapolis, passed away October 23, 2005. He was born November 8, 1946 in Indianapolis to Raymond and Helen Bastin. Allen served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a supervisor at UPAC for 17 years. Allen was a member of Bethany Christian Church. Two brothers, Larry and Danny Bastin, and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Bastin, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Diana F. Bastin; children, Tracy L. Larkin, Curtis A. Bastin, and Steven R. Bastin; six grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis J. Smith. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at G. H. Herrmann Madison Ave. Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., with calling there from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday. He will be laid to rest in New Crown Cemetery.
