NILES – Helen M. Sipusic, 88, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
She was born July 16, 1923, in Hubbard, Ohio the daughter of Emeric and Stefanja Bata.
Helen was a 1941 graduate of Hubbard High School, member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, Ohio a homemaker, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, canning, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Helen, who always said “What’s your story” will be deeply missed by her husband, Aloysius Sipusic, whom she married June 5, 1948; two sons, Stephen Sipusic and his wife, Mary Lou of Cortland, Ohio and Ronald Sipusic and his wife, Patty of Champion; a daughter, Janet Rook and her husband, David of Hudson, Ohio; a sister, Wilma Quinn of Hubbard, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Holly Sipusic, Faye Rook, and Stephanie Rook.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, John Bata and Jim Bata.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Niles, Ohio.
Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
