Hi had a quick look there is a edward batch aged 5 in the 1861 census with a father called moses batch he was born at earith hunthingdon hope this helps

I think we are probably related because we have a cousin Roxanne Batch who lives out here in Callifornia not far from me and her side of the family is your side of the family. I am just printing lots of stuff that I have recently discovered.

Since there were a multitude of Stephen Batchs in the family it would seem that was a popular name. My great-grandfather was Stephen Bryant Batch who was a prominent barber in Monangahela. Roxanne recently visited Monongahela Cemetary and took pictures of my great grandparents gravestones. Send me an e-mail and we can compare notes. I am looking for information on my grandparents Fred & Cora Batch and their family. My father is John Batch (born 1950) and he has a twin named Charlie Batch, who is Charlie Batch's father (my first cousin). Some of Fred & Cora's children include, Fred, Erma, Louis, Gail, among others. The family lived in Mckeesport, PA I believe.

Anthony, Anton Batch

I would appreciate any leads on a Anthony, Anton Batch (Bache or Bach) that lived in Dubois County, Indiana. He was listed in the 1870 & 1880 Census of Dubois County. His daughter Anna Elizabeth was my great-grandmother. Anna married Charles Weber in Boonville, Warrick Co., Indiana on June 13, 1889. I haven't been able to find any information on this family except for these census records.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Tracing 4xGrandfather Batch and brothers

My 3x grandfather was born john batch in Hockwold cum wilton in the year 1822 and died in Thretford in the year 1897 was married to a Sarah and i beleive her maiden name was Alborough was born in Mellned in 1822 .
i believe my 4x Grandfathers name was james but not total sure about but i have a marriage lines dating back to 25 Nov 1820 in wilton Norfolk to a Mary west of the same parish. If anyone has any information that would help i would be gratefully

I just happenend on this site looking for catlins. My great, great grandfather was Alfred Catlin and he married Mary Elizabeth Batch. His father was Vachel Catlin and Vachel had a brother named Phillip. They all were barbers in Monogahela , Pennsylvania. Phillip Catlin was the first barber in this city.

If you have more information on the Batches side or Catlins and don't mind sharing, I would greatly appreciate it.

Batch name change

I have copies of my grandfather's marriage certificate. His name was Barcigalupia on it. Also, some of his children (the oldest ones) were born with the name Barcigalupia, and the younger ones were born with the name Batch. My mother was a Batch but I have uncles whose names are Barcigalupia, and aunts whose maiden names are Barcigalupia. My aunt who started the Batch geneology discovered that in the tax rolls and censuses that the name Batch and Barcigalupia were used back and forth. In 1900, most of the family were using the Batch name, but not all. My aunt found some Barcigalupias in Chicago. This was a long time ago. All of my Barcigalupia uncles have died since then.

I am looking for information on Gene Batch born 1903. He married Vivian Smith and they had the following children: O.C, Jerry, Bobbie Jo Anne,Beverly and Bruce. He worked in the oil fields in Oklahoma in the 1930's. He later moved to Chelan Washington. He died in the 1970's and is buried in the Chelan Wa, cemetry.
