Wright Stephen Batchelor was born in 1782 and died in 1846. He married ? and had a son, Nathan Wright Batchelor. Nathan Wright Batchelor was born in 1819 and died in 1894 and married Nancy Perry. They had Temperance Jane Batchelor who married Frederick Gustav Obenhaus. Then she married Gideon Flournoy.

I am researching the family of William BATCHELOR and his wife LUCY ANN who lives at St. Marylebone, London, England. They had a son named THOMAS POYLE BATCHELOR b. 1813 at St. Marylebone, London, England. He married in 1838 at Marylebone (spouse unknown). He later married ANN JAMES in 1860 at Pancras. He died at the age of 75 years at Marylebone in 1888.

His son and namesake THOMAS BATCHELOR married CHARLOTTE ADOLPHINA BONEHEYO in 1868 at Limehouse, London, England.

They also had a son and namesake, THOMAS BATCHELOR b. 1870 at Poplar, London.

Hello, my name is LaKeta Lewis. Walter Monroe Batchelor and Christine Dolly Mae Evans had my mother, now known as Willa Louise Andrews Lewis, but she was born with the name Willie Louise Evans. I have found information that says Walter was born Jan 22, 1926 to James Batchelor in Edgecombe, NC, but that is as far as I've gotten on either one of them. I do know that Walter died 2 days before my birthday, Nov 22, 1988. I don't know who his wife was or their family so if anyone could help me go backwards or forwards, that would be great.

Looking for descendants of George and Vine. I am confused regarding their children from previous marriages. Vine had two children with George's brother Jesse. She and Jesse married in Putnam Co, GA on 23 Dec 1875. According to records in Putnam, the children were Annie Lee and Jessie(female). I also have a question regarding George's middle name. In 1879 G. R. Batchelor filed a petition for a guardian to Sarah Batchelor widow of Blakey Batchelor. Sarah and Blakey had only one son with the initial G. That was George. However, the family lists his middle name as Washington. I do know that George's maternal grandfather was George Reynolds. I am related to both George (my 3rd great granduncle) and Vine Eskew (my 3rd great grandaunt). I have alot info on the Eskew family and the Batchelor family. Thank you

Daniel Levi Batchelor, 18, of Staunton, died following a car accident on Saturday.
He was born September 26, 1987, in Clay County the son of Danny Ray Batchelor and Penny Powell Batchelor. He attended Staunton Elementary School, North Clay and Northview High School. He thoroughly enjoyed being out of doors in the woods, whether hunting, fishing or just walking in the woods. He enjoyed being with friends and family playing cards or just being together. He was active in the Big Brother, Big Sister program for several years. He was a loving son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Pearl Walden, and Della Batchelor and her fiance John Brown; three nephews, Aaron Walden, Jacob Summers, and Caleb Summers all of Staunton; grandmothers, Kathryn Braden of Brazil and Patricia Powell of Staunton; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Philip Powell and Orville Batchelor.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at French Funeral Home with Daniel Snyder officiating. Burial will follow at Bee Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the Big Brothers-Big Sisters. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

She was a lifelong resident of Onslow County.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Community Funeral Home chapel in Beulaville. Burial will follow at Batchelor Cemetery in Richlands.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Amick of Carolina Beach; a son, Belton Batchelor and wife Celia of Richlands; a sister, Minnie Jones of Richlands; and three grandsons, Mark Batchelor, Kent Batchelor and Tyler Batchelor.

Rhonda Rae Dickison, 54, of Turner died at 5:50 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14, 2005, in Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She worked as a cook and waitress at the I-70 restaurant and most recently as a cook at Centerpoint Country Junction. For a short while, she drove a truck with her husband.

She was born in Greencastle on March 24, 1951, to Carl and Elaine Paris Batchelor. She married Harry E. “Rodger” Dickison on July 10, 1970. She attended Brazil High School. She was a member of American Legion Post 2 and attended Turner Community Church. She loved to spend time with her family and her poodles, dancing, cooking, reading, sewing, swimming and decorating for the holidays.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harry E. Dickison Jr., and Joshua C. Dickison and his fiancee Juanita Smith; a daughter, Lisa Laitas and her husband Anthony; a stepdaughter, Lori Pawless; a daughter-in-law, Sheree Dickison; a brother, Gary Lee Batchelor; four sisters, Penny Batchelor, Angie Allen, Shelly Hoffman and and Carla Hoskins; grandchildren, Austin Dickison, Tyler Dickison, Brockton Dickison, Zachary Dickison, Mike Raab, Nikki Whitehead and Travis Whitehead; a great-grandson, Dylan Raab; a best friend, Gloria Brown; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Tina Johnson.

Betty Batchelor (1795 - 16 October 1854) Married Samuel Dainton (29 July 1787 - 19 November 1864) at St George's Church, Beckington, Somerset, England 25 December 1815.

I believe that Betty was the daughter of George Batchelor (1773 - 1 May 1842) & Mary Keevil (married 5 August 1793 St George's Church, Beckington, Somerset, England).

George was the son of William Batchelor & Betty Taylor (married 23 December 1756 St George's Church, Beckington, Somerset, England)

I'm trying to firm up dates & information. I have part of the legal document over an inheritence issue in early 1800s regarding a Batchelor who went to the States and left money to his English relatives.

Sadie Belle Henderson, 76, of Terre Haute died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, in Sebastopol, Calif., at her daughter's residence. She was a homemaker.

She was born May 7, 1929, in Oxford, Ga., to Spencer Allen Batchelor and May Belle Fambrough Batchelor. Her first husband, Dr. Paul Koeter; and her second husband, Joseph Henderson, died earlier.

Survivors include two daughters, Georgia McKee of California and Paula Koester of Terre Haute; three sons, Daniel Koester and his wife, Patty of Indianapolis and Paul William Koester Jr. and David Koester, both of Terre Haute; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Sarah Clotfelter of Georgia; one brother, Frank Batchelor of New York; one brother-in-law, Lloyd Koester of Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; one sister; and one sister-in-law, Hazel Koester.

There will be a pot luck dinner at Collett Park from noon until 7 p.m. Thursday to celebrate her life.

My great grandmother's brother Joseph Batchelor/Bachelor emigrated from Lincolnshire England to Ontario Canada around 1870 where he married Louisa Bond. They raised a huge family in Manitoba.
I have a photograph of them, with their 13 children, taken around 1900 and sent to my great grandmother.

I know at William John moved via North Dakota to Renton WA where he also raised a family, but I lose them after that and have no descendants for the others. Lottie at least was married - she is wearing a ring in the photo, but I have no details.

For forty years I have actively sought the heritage of my maternal grandmother, Hazel P Batchelor. Much to my dismay, I have not even come close to having a grain of sand of information which is not shadowed by uncertainty. At this juncture, I discovered that her father went by George Batchelor, a RailRoad Worker who lived with his wife,Rosa, until their divorce in Feb 1924. I do know he lived in Roland, AR until his death and is buried there. Rosa remarried, to whom, I do not know. Could it be Rosa, born in Oklahoma, was Spanish? Was George, who the census records reflect a birthplace of Texas, have come from Tennessee? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I know of her:
She had at least two brothers: James F Foster(wife was Jennie) who died in 1930 Sumner Pierce Co Washington and William R Foster(wife was Regna) who lived in Sumner Pierce Co atleast in 1930.
I expect the whole family at one time came from North or South Dakota and the generation before that came from Iowa and Indiana and OHio.
Mary's mother was Jane Crawford Foster who was born in Ohio and moved to Iowa and North Dakota.
Mary's Grandfather was Andrew Crawford and grandmother Mary A Finton.

I have a picture of a grave marker for Helen Batchelor,d 07-05-1901 at the age of 68 years. She is interred at Norwood Cemetery, London, England. I have the rememberance folder that was printed about her.

I am trying to determine if Susannah Batchelor b. 1837 or 1838 m. 27 Nov 1861 at Saint James, Southampton, Hampshire England to Ceasar Wheatley b. bet 11 Jan 1837 and 26 Nov 1837 at Southampton, Hampshire England is the mother of Charles Frederick Wheatley b.19 Jan 1864.

Ceasar Wheatley was also married on 11 Jan 1868 to Ann James. Which leads to two likely possiblities:

1) Susannah Batchelor died bet 28 Nov 1861 and 10 Jan 1868 and Charles Frederick Wheatley was her son.

- or -

2) Ann James was the mother of Charles Frederick Wheatley and Susannah divoced Ceasor when that came to light.
