Bateman Y-DNA Project at Family Tree DNA

Classification: Query
Surnames: Bateman, Turnbow, Britt
It would be helpful to the Bateman family researchers, if males Batemans from the various Bateman lines, would participate in the Bateman YDNA project. This help researchers find their families when records are missing. Family Tree DNA is the most widely recognized genealogy testing site in the world. Please visit their website for more information. The test are less expensive, if you join the Bateman family project as you will get the group rate. https://www.familytreedna.com/public/BatemanDNA
Also there is a companion site to the dna study at http://www.worldfamilies.net/surnames/bateman/pats
I have been helping my Bateman friend research his ancestor, Samuel M. Bateman of Attala County, Mississippi. He married Margaret Turnbow in Giles county, Tenn and there the trail runs cold. We are looking for a Bateman dna match to find our missing links.
