Watsil Avery Bates was also my great grandfather! His son, James Barney Bates Sr., was my grandfather. I know that Emphriam Madison was Avery's father however, we do not have any other information about Madison other than his spouse's name, dob, etc. We also believe that Wade (do not know middle name or initial) was Madison's father.

I would love to know your parent's and grandparent's name and how we are related. Also, I would greatly appreciate any other info that you are willing to share with me.
