Electa Bates Wells Moore was born 1840 - 1845 in Michigan. She married her 1st husband Martello Wells in 1862 also in Branch County. Had 1 child with first husband Alice Wells. Her 1st husband Martello Wells died during the Civil War in 1862. Electa remarried 2nd husband was Frederick S. Moore. Her second husband was born in New York. She had 2 more children with her second husband Cora and Charles.

About 1870 Electa, her 2nd Husband Frederick Moore and her children all moved to Oneida County New York and resided there for awhile. Then they came back to Branch County Michigan. Electa died there October 14 1911. Her husband Frederick S. Moore died there June 23, 1917.

Electa's daughter Alice Wells FROM HER FIRST MARRIAGE died in Branch County in 1882.

Her Daughter Cora from her SECOND MARRIAGE died in Branch County on January 19, 1941. Cora was married to Frank Brown

Her son Charles I do not know when or where he died or if he ever married.
