Hi, Mark and Mary. My great great grandmother was a Bates. Her uncle was Katherine Lee's dad.

My great grandmother told me that Katherine Lee went to the top of Pike's peak one day , to jump off. When she saw what she saw she wrote America the Beautiful instead.
The other information that I have is that my relative was a drummer boy in the revolution.
