Hi Jessica - I am related to you through your great-grandmother, Flora Bates Bath. She was a sister of my grandfather, John S. Bates, Jr. So you are one generation farther "downstream" than me. Uncle Charlie, as I knew him, used to visit my grandmother in Norwalk, CT when I was a boy (1950's). My research goal was to determine what happened to Flora, my grandfather's sibling, which I eventually pieced together. I can provide you with whatever you want on the Bates line. Also, Charles Bath's parents and some young siblings are buried in Fairview Cemetery in New Britain, a few miles from my home in Wethersfield, CT. If you would like, I will run over there and get you a photo and the inscriptions.
