She was named as the mother on the birth certificate of Frederick John Mckay.
The father was named as Alexander McKay.

Frederick John Mckay was born 5 April 1867 at 3 Princes Street, Saint Pancras.

I've found Emma in 1871 in Whitfield Street Tottenham Court, London aged 36 with her 3 year old son but no sign of Alexander. Emma was registered as having been born in Vernham Hampshire but I can't find any evidence of her birth nor any Bath family in the area in 1841 or 1851.

I have extensive information regarding George Bath and his family in Georgia. However, his parents remain a mystery. He was born in NY according to census and military records. He fought in the Seminole Wars in FL, then came to Georgia and enlisted in Bulloch Co. in the Confederate Army. After the Civil War he married Nancy Crosby of Bulloch Co. daughter of William Crosby and Leasy Stanaland.
In later census records George Bath indicates that his parents were born in France. Please notify me if you have any information regarding this family.

I am really struggling to find Isaac Frank Bath who immigrated from England and married Mary Catherine Hughes who was born in Delaware. They appear on census in 1880 in Iowa, but I can not find marriage or death records. I am especially interested in locating the England side of Mr Bath. I was told he, or his father, were a sea captain. He was born around 1840 and died between 1881 and 1900. His son, Charles Oscar Bath settled in Webster County Missouri between 1880 and 1950. If this is a connection with anyone, I will gladly share information about the descendents.

Bath's of Millom Cumbria

1881 census lists a Richard Bath as an Iron Ore Miner aged 28, born Mary Lavy Cornwall. As far as I am aware, there is no such place as Mary Lavy in Cornwall, although there is a Mary Lavy in Devon.
His wife is also listed as being born in Mary Lavy??? At some stage they moved to Millom in Cumbria and their daughter, Edith Emma married a William Stewart Stamper.
Can anyone help me with this puzzle please.

Help? Great granddad, Thomas WK & Mary Stephens lived at 53 Calton Road, Bath in 1878. If anyone has access to 1871 &1881 Census, please check if he or his father George were then resident there. 1871 Census may give surname of Keating as they came from Ireland around that time, adopted new name and then moved on to South Africa in 1880's. Any help very much appreciated as name change complicates matters. I am trying to establish when name was changed and when they immigrated to SA.

He came to Georgia and enlisted in Bulloch Co. in the Confederate Army. After the Civil War he married Nancy Crosby of Bulloch Co. daughter of William Crosby and Leasy Stanaland.
In later census records George Bath indicates that his parents were born in France.

I am looking for information on Jacob Bath and his wife Kathirna Stark Bath. I know Jacob was born in Bavaria November 25, 1813 and died in Washington County in Wisconsin around the town of Addison June 28, 1881. They had many children Amalia, Charles, Jacob, and more. Kathrina Stark Bath was born in Prussia June 02, 1829 and died in Washington County around the Town of Addison September 22, 1909. I do not know when they were married or when they immigrated to the United States. They are both buried in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Addison, Wisconsin. At least one of their children, Amalia was born in Wisconsin in 1852, so they were at least in the state then, most likely in Addison. I do not know the names of their parents and would appreciate any information. Thanks, John Uhlman. P.S. A common spelling of their last name was also Barth.

Hello,

I am interested in finding out if anyone knows anything about my end of the family. My fathers name was Warren Ellwood Bath, Jr.(1920-1985). His father was Warren Bath, Sr. and his mother was Mary Bath. We know the family comes from England - not sure where. I've visited England 2x. When I go to Bath, England (fab city!!) they see my name and look at me funny. I haven't been able to locate anything in the Bath abbey (just walked through looking for tombstone matches). I know a little about the name in relation to the "order of the Bath" - but am interested in hearing more.

Peace,

Aileen

I have traced my BATH line back to James BATHE ca 1678 who married Eloner CHANTER on 6 Jun 1697 at St. David's, Exeter, Devon. Does anyone have any information regarding James? I suspect he is the son of John BATHE & Ann HOCKEN who married in 1677 at St. Thomas the Apostle, Exeter.

Searching for the Family Bible of Isaac Bath and Ann Collyer/Collier who lived in Blackwood, Monmouthshire, Great Britain, about 1835 to 1880. In 1908 the Bible was in the possession of Sarah Bendle Bath Smith Lee who lived in Ynysddu, Monmouthshire. In 1909 Sarah and her husband, Beniah Lee, moved to Oakland County, Michigan. It is unknown what she did with the Bible. She had one son, Thomas George Bath, and there were children of Anne Bath and Frederick Smith also in that area. Frederick Smith married Sarah after the death of Anne Bath. I would like to obtain a copy of the family information that was in that Bible.

Am interesting in contacting anyone researching the Bath surname. This line came from Germany in 1837, beginning with Johann Bath Elizabeth Muller Bath. Their children were: Simon, Michael, Nicolaus, John, Elizabeth, George, Theobald. Two more children were born in the U.S.: Gottfried and Anna Maria. Name is said to have changed to Bath when arrived to U.S. Please email directly to wimado@aol.com Thanks.
