Help Batt's of New Zealand

Can anyone help me here? I am trying to trace my Family tree on my Dads side. His dad was Henry Bernard Batt and his father Thomas Batt. We get as far as My Great Grandfather then come to a dead end. We dont know where they came from at all so if anyone can help please can you contact me.
