I read the info Sandra Harter listed and for the most part it is correct. The name Marcella Ailene Campain is incorrect, it is properly spelled Marcella Aileen Campain, at least that is how it is spelled on my birth certificate.

I have also been researching my family tree.
There was a book published in 1966 by Vera Stewart-Novak entitled: J.P. "Dick" which contained family histories related to The Batterson/Sample families.

I have been searching a long time for a copy of that book to fill in the blanks I have on my Ancesteral Tree, and to maybe have another, updated book published within the next year or so.

I went to the Batterson site that was listed, but it seems that there are a lot of broken links ( maybe it has been abandoned? ).

I would sure like to get my family tree finished, so if there is other info out there, please contact me at:
DAsAngel@mps-enterprises.com

Also, I may be able to offer hosting for all data that has and will be collected on this family tree at my website:

http://www.mps-enterprises.com/

If anyone is interested in helping to centralize all this data, please contact me.

Sincerely,
Marcella Pierce born Marcella Aileen Campain

About 25 years ago, my mother (Patricia Heath) was in contact with Jacqueline Mager about our common Batterson Ancestry. Does anyone in this forum know her? She was a gggrandaughter of Oscar Batterson, through Nettie Belle Batterson. She was an avid genealogist, from what I can tell from her letters, and I would love to re-establish contact with her.

Thanks,
Karen Heath Penman
kpenman617@aol.com
Hello,

My name is Sandra Harter (nee: Batterson) and I am currently researching the BATTERSON Family Lineage. My Grandfather was Harold Batterson.

The bare minimum I would appreciate from you is a little information about your immediate family. Starting with your Place of Birth and Birth Date, likewise any Parents, Siblings, Children and hopefully your Grandparents.

Of course it would be great if you or any family members are currently working on, or possibly have a Family Tree in progress.

Any information is greatly appreciated (The more detailed the information the easier it will be to possibly connect you to my part of the Tree.)

Here is a small sample of what I need:

Descendants of Calvin Mead Batterson

1 Calvin Mead Batterson d: in Rochester, County of Monroe, New York USA b: January 18, 1813 in Dergy, New York Calvin Mead Batterson
. +Sarah b: May 1805 in Rochester, New York, USA Sarah Batterson
. 2 Theodore E. Batterson d: Aft. 1900 in Rochester, County of Monroe, New York USA b: May 1835 in New York City, New york Theodore E. Batterson

I have this down to the present day and pretty much updated.

Of course what I'm going to do for you is to make sure that once your connection to the tree has been established that I promptly send you a copy in turn for your participation.

Thanks for your help. If you have any questions please email me at SLHARTER@AOL.COM

I hope that you find the time do this little bit, the rewards are worth it! Hope to here from you soon! Also please check out and sign the registry for the Batterson Family Web page put together by Jason Coffman.
