After the passing of my mother and uncle, I have no living relatives in America and am searching for my Scottish roots. My great grandparents, William (son of George and Agnes Square Battison, born 1832 in St. Ninniens, Stirling, Scotland), and Elizabeth McFarlane Battison (daughter of Archibald and Janet Murdoch McFarlane born 3 Jan 1835 in Kilmadock, Perth, Scotland) had four children; Janet Murdoch Battison, b. 9 July 1867, George Battison, b. 10 Aug. 1869, Agnes Battison b. 21 Aug. 1871, and my grandmother, Isabella Battison Jenkins, b. 10 Jul 1874 in Stirling, Scotland. Isabella was head cook at Langarth Castle about 1910-1913 before marrying my grandfather and coming to America. Thank you for any assistance in connecting with my family....Christina from Texas
