Yes there are a lot of Battle's. My Great Grandfather was also from Edgecombe. His name was Joseph Edward Battle & my grandma name was Adlonia. They had six kids, Betsy, Nancy, Ethel, Jesse, Tom and William. Two of my grandfather's brother's name were Percy & Richard Battle. They had a sister who lived to be 100 yrs. old.
