My paternal grandparents moved north in the early 1900's from Rocky Mount(near Battleboro). Jesse Battle had a brother, Charlie and sister,Ponty. My grandmother was a Parks,from NC. Blackfoot/Cherokee blood in one or both g'parents. If anyone has knowledge of similar information I would like to hear from you!
