just to make all of you aware who carry this name with you. in case you did not know. our family unfortunately owned several slave plantations with african slaves who, when lincoln freed the slaves had been given our sir name so as not to stand out completely in america. if you are indeed a true Batts please contact me online via email. it would be nice to know that i actually do have some living relatives. thanks
