Geraldus Batts of Wilson Co. NC,,, need help!

As a result of searches on ancestor.com and the Morman's IGI, I have come up with the following matches on Geraldus Batts.

He was born abt. 1792 in Edgecomb NC
He served in the war of 1812.
He inherited a bunch of land when his father died.. still fuzzy on this.. was he underage or something when his dad died?
He got married to Elizabeth Knight 1815.
Now my question is.. what happened to him and Elizabeth then?
What kids did they have? Did they go to Hickman Co. Ky?

William Henry Batts born abt 1843 and Eunice Estell (Estell may be spelled differently) born abt 1845. William was born in Philadelphia and Estell was from New Jersey.

Their children:
Charles H Batts born about 1866 in New Jersey
Elizabeth (may be Lilly) born about 1867 in New Jersey
Lillian (Lilly) born May 1867 in New Jersey married John S. Fidler and she died April 1890.
Mary born 1869 in Philadelphia and married Edwin Margerum. She died January 1891.
Ella born April 1871 Philadelphia and married Jacob Adams. She died November 1911.
William H. born abt 1873 in Philadelphia and died March 1879
Eunice born May 1880 married Alfred Pierce and died September 1912.

Benjamin Batts, married to Sarah Jane Belle Hicks, circa early 1800's was my great great great grandfather, living in (approximate) Athens, Alabama.They had 11 children and "more than 99 slaves" according to the 1860 census. My great grandmother was Lavinia Hicks Batts, born in 1858. Her mother was Sara Jane Belle Batts, married to John Covington Morris, a "master carpenter' of Alabama. Lavinia moved to Louisville, Kentucky and married William Greene, a candymaker. My grandmother was Laura Belle Greene, married to John Henry Young (Jung-German descent). My father was William John Young of Louisville, deceased in 1994. Anyone with information, please contact. Thank you.

Looking for information about Celia Batts who died around 1820 in Washington Co. GA. She married Stephen Mitchell. Would like to find her marriage location and date she married. In 1797 they lived in Warren Co. GA and had 4 children: Stephen, a minor child, and married daughters Sally Coleman, Susannah Harville and Lucretia Coleman. Differing places of birth, including Celia was born in Scotland and Stephen in Ireland. I have quite a lot of research on Stephen but haven't been able to find either Celia or Stephen's parents or their place of birth.

Hello cousins...I'm looking for the parentage of my GGGF John E. Batts. John married Martha Jane Myers, b. 1842, in 1860 and had two children, John Christopher and Lucy Delilah. In 1869, he married Sarah Mildred Horton, b.1848 and sired five sons, Thomas Rolly, George Millard, Walter Bruce, John E. Jr. and my GGF Judson James.
Family lore says John may have also used the name James as evidenced in several land documents.
I can't seem to find him earlier than the 1880 Census. Can someone help?

According to the annals of supernatural history, the story of the Bell Witch started in 1817 when the Bell family, prosperous farmers from Tennessee, began experiencing strange phenomena in their home. First, the house was plagued with knocking and rapping noises and scratching sounds.

Blankets were pulled from beds, family members were kicked and scratched and their hair pulled. Particularly tormented was a 12-year-old Betsy Bell, who was slapped, pinched, bruised and stuck with pins. At first, John Bell was determined to keep the events secret, but soon confided in a friend , who then formed an investigative committee. John Bell's friends soon learned that the strange force in the house had an eerie intelligence. It soon found a voice and from that day on. . .was seldom silent.

The spirit identified itself as the "witch" of Kate Batts, a neighbors of the Bell's, with whom John had experienced bad business dealings over some purchased slaves. "Kate" as the local people began calling her, made daily appearances in the Bell home, wreaking havoc on everyone there. People all over the area of soon learned of the witch and she made appearances, in sounds and voices, all over Robertson County."

I am looking for any relative of Lossie M. Batts ( b. 1951 NYC). She is the daughter of Ruby Carpenter and Stacy Batts. Ruby Carpenter was born poss. 1928 in NYC to Marie Carpenter ( b. poss. 1905, Jamaica ).
Stacy Batts was born poss. 1926 in Topsail, NC to E. George Batts and Daisy Batts.

My father was James McCless Batts Jr and his father senior and all I know is that he came from N.C not sure what part but they are both deceased Grandad died in 2003 age 73 of a stroke and Dad died in 2004 at the age of 46 of cancer. They are survived by Myself and my 2 siblings, two aunts and an uncle as far as I know. Maybe some one else can fill in the blanks.

She was born in Tahoka, Texas. She moved to Santa Fe in 1947 and taught music at Leah Harvey Junior High for eight years. She was a member of P.E.O., the 15 Club, CBS Community Bible Studies and the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles N. Batts.
She is survived by her children, Charles D. Batts and wife Marilyn of Santa Fe, Carla Jelinek and husband Tim of Albuquerque, and Betty Gruitch and husband Bob of Sunnyvale, Calif.; sister, Louise Kincaid of Hereford, Texas; five grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Margaret (Maggie) Batts was b.1905 d.1983. She lived with her family (George E. and Sallie Bridgers Batts) in Cary, NC, until she married Ludovicus Fernandus (Fred) Van Camp in 1922. She bore one son. Eugene Louis Van Camp in 1927and lived in the New York region.. Maggie was a starlet with Pathex Pictures in Long Island, NY. I have stills of scenes she acted in, in a 1923 silent movie called "Real Life".

They lived in wilson/statonsburg area. Their names were Joseph John and Roberta L.(McCubbins) Batts.
