Looking for data on Civil War veteran Israel
Baublitz who served with the 87th Pennsylvania
Volunteer Infantry. The unit mustered in
York in September 1861. I am writing a
history of the regiment and seek firsthand
accounts by the veterans. I am also building
a database of personal data on each soldier
and need your help in that huge task.

Israel Baublitz (b. Jul 28, 1836; d. Aug 14, 1902)
was a laborer from Dover, York County and the
son of Peter Henrietta Baublitz. He married
Josephine Zinn October 28, 1866.
