I am trying to find the death date and burial place of Allan F. Bauder/Bader the son of Joseph R. Bauder and Catherine Reiss. Allen Franklin Bauder was born to Joseph R. Bauder and wife Catherine in July 1853 and his birth is recorded in the Lower Saucon Reformed Lutheran Church Records. In the 1890 on-line Northampton Census he and his family are listed as follows:
1890 Lower Saucon
Franklin Bader 40
Christina 30
Chas 13
Ellen 11
Sarah 5
In 1900 the family is still in Lower Saucon with details:
Allen F. Bader 44 b. July 1853
Christina wife 31
In 1910 he had moved to Northampton Heights, just south of South Bethlehem and the details are
Allen F. Bauder 52
Christiana wife 51
In 1920 he was living with his son in Bethlehem (ED 90 Sheet 1a)
Family 9/10
Allen F. Bauder 62
Christiana wife 61
Charles H.or W. 42 single
In the 1930 census records I cannot find Allen F. or Christiana but I do find Charles H. in Beth at 23 West North St (ED21, Pg 1A)
Charles H. Bauder 52 single seems to work in the steel mill although the information has been crossed out.
I assume that Allen F. and Christiana Bauder/Bader died between 1920 and 1930. Charles is not listed on the Rootsweb interactive SSDI, so I don't have a clue to his death date. Interestingly in the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census records Christiana Bauder is listed as the mother of 2 children with 2 living despite the fact that the 1890 census lists three children in that household. Perhaps one is a niece.
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks in advance
