You really should contact me (MileHiCajun at gmail dot com) because according to what you have posted on your family tree, the Pierre Baudoin who came directly from France is NOT (I repeat... NOT!!!!) your relative. I'm a paying member of ancestry.com (US only, not international) and did about 30 mins. of research to help the lady who had hit a dead-end with a different line of Baudoins (ancestors of Otto Baudoin) who are not directly related to yours and mine.

I'm related to the Abbeville Baudoins, though I lived in Nunez (in the Hwy 14/Hwy 695 area) from birth until 4th grade (1963 to 1971; attended school in Meaux)... though that land was acquired from my mom's side of the family (Faulk) rather than my father's (Baudoin).
