Surnames: Baugh, Isom (Isham)
Looking for info on my gggrandmother JULIA ANN ELIZABETH BAUGH b. 1822 in AL or GA. She married JAMES (ISHAM) ISOM b. 1820 GA. J.A.E.'s father was possibly ABSLAM BAUGH, supposedly of Choctaw heritage. (Isom and BAUGH families were neigbors in DeKalb CO. GA.) Family lore says they left the Trail of Tears near the Natchez Trace. J.A.E. and husband James settled in Rockyford, Pontotoc Co. MS by mid 1840s.
