William Baulch - Devon

Hello all...

I have a William Henry Baulch, born c. 1835, master mariner, d. possibly in 1876. I have no records of his birth and I don't know his parents or where he was born (he lived in Plymouth, Devon, where his wife Eliza Bootyman and all their children were born)

There's one William Baulch (married to a Harriet Baulch), born c. 1800 in Beer, Devon, (occupation: fisherman,) and I'm inclined to think this *could* be William H. Baulch's father, but I have been unable to prove or disprove the connection... Have anyone come across any William Baulch in Devon (specially Plymouth or Beer)? Any info greatly appreciated...

Best regards,

Paul

She was born in Plymouth (England) in 1869. the English Census of 1881 and 1891 list her living with her widowed mother ELIZA J. BAULCH (Born in Plymouth, too.) Eliza's children (all born in Plymouth, Devon): EMILY BAULCH (b. 1861), ANTHONY BAUCH (b. 1864), LAURA BAULCH (b. 1869) and FREDERICK BAULCH (b. 1873)

ELIZA J.

I just recently put up a small web site, http://home.columbus.rr.com/baulch, on our Baulch family. My brick wall, John R. Baulch/Balch (1810-1892), is listed there as well as a good portion of his family. Late 19th century photos are also included. I hope it may help some of you in your research, and perhaps some of you can help me!!!
