Surnames: Bauman, Baumann, Bowman
Our ancestor Wendel Bauman was born in Thun, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. He arrived in America in 1707 and settled in Lancaster County. His land contained 530 acres along the Pequea, and was patented on July 7, 1711. Does anyone have a record of his middle name? We have conflicting histories dependant on his mother's name i.e. Santmann or Funk. Thank you.
