I am searching for a friend who lives in our condo unit. Her father's name was Fred Bauman and her grandfather was Herman Bauman. Herman she believes was from either Austria or Germany? They lived in New York City for some time. Her father and mother retired to Fl. Her grandfather, so she was told was killed somehow. Her family wouldn't discuss with her so she has little info. on them. Her mother's name was Ruth Epstein. Herman's wife was Mamie. Any help so that she can take it further? She would like to join Ancestry but didn't realize just how much she would be able to find. I'm trying to convince her of all abilities with just some info where she can take it from and get started.Thanks
