Hi, I've hit a major block on this family line. I am looking for anyone related to Robert Wolfgang Bauman/Bowman. He was born on September 18, 1911 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Anton Bauman,(I was told that Anton served in the Boar War). I have no idea who the mother was. I was told he was born a Bauman but before his second marriage, he had it changed to Bowman. . He had a son with his first wife, Bob Bauman. Then he married Edith Gladys Cunningham (my grandmother). He died in the Chicago, Illinois Area in July of 1978. Robert and Edith had six children. Five sons and one daughter. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance.

Still looking for more information about Jacob BAUMAN who was born in 1789 in PA, probably around Lancaster or Montgomery County. He married Elizabeth Richstein in 1810 in Montgomery Co., PA. They moved to Indiana about 1830 and settled in Clay/Owen Counties. I went to PA recently to do research, but there were so many Baumans I was overwhelmed and don't know where he fits in! Patsy

Wendel Bauman

Our ancestor Wendel Bauman was born in Thun, Canton of Bern, Switzerland. He arrived in America in 1707 and settled in Lancaster County. His land contained 530 acres along the Pequea, and was patented on July 7, 1711. Does anyone have a record of his middle name? We have conflicting histories dependant on his mother's name i.e. Santmann or Funk. Thank you.

I would like to hear from Kathy who is the daughter of Robert J. and Louise M. Bauman. We went to Seminole Co., FL schools together. She attended the Catholic high school in Orange Co., FL for her junior and senior years. She graducated in 1957. She became an RN and it is thought she married a navy pilot. Unfortunately, Seminole Co. marriage records are indexed only by the name of the groom which I do not know.
